This year my one and only trip back to the states was for my family reunion. We have a Martin Family Reunion every other summer and this year's was on Amelia Island, Florida. One thing I've come to realize and appreciate since I've been living on this side of the pond is that I love and cherish my family! I'm looking forward to moving back to the states so I can see them more often.
I don't always get to spend the entire week at the reunions but this year I made sure I could, especially since it takes me 3+ flights and more than 18 hours of travel from my current home.
